This project I created an image of what my spirit animal would be, which is a blue jay. The media of this project was paper, watercolor, and ink. A few skills that I reinforced was one, how to use watercolor paints and two, how to draw with ink. I feel like the cool colors in this picture really match what type of animal it is. Those colors also give the feelings of calmness and knowledge. the movement of the lines, and the different angles gives the image nice space and definition. By differentiating the lines it gave the image a 3D effect.

My work doesn't really look like something per-say, but it definitely has it's own movement and feeling. It seems to be expanding out, branching away from the focal point into the beyond. One skill I used in creating this art piece was making precise lines so that everything looked uniform. I also reinforced that there is more than one way to create an appearance of a curve, that by using straight lines in just the correct way you ca fool they eyes into thinking there is a curved line. The elements most emphasized in this piece would have to be line and movement. Lines because the whole thing is made of lines, and movement because the lines are creating a 3D look. By using lines in a different way, I was able to create art that was different and eye catching.
